Beaver Brook Falls - A Pit Stop

Yesterday's wedding brought me to Pittsburg- a gorgeously untouched town in the Great North Woods. I think I live up north, but my gosh, it took me an hour and a half to reach Pittsburg- and there was still more to see farther north!

While traveling Route 145, the Beaver Brook Falls sign caught my eye and I turned. For a split second, I saw this gorgeous waterfall nestled in the woods. I added a pit stop to my agenda on the way back.

After photographing the wedding- which I can't wait to blog about!- I unpacked my lunchbox and sat for awhile beside the falls. All I wanted was to go home and take a cold shower, but the stop was worth it. We all need to spend a few quiet moments in nature. Especially when alone.

My brief photographic expedition has left me wanting more time outside, and more experience shooting the Great Outdoors.
