Kenzie's Model Worthy Senior Photos

Kenzie any my cousin, Eddie are high school sweethearts. When I took his senior pictures, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take hers!

We started at the family camp on Pequawket Lake. I quickly found out that Kenzie is a joy to be around and SO PHOTOGENIC! I don't have a bad picture of her. Seriously, some of these are Vogue worthy.

I adore this pink dress of hers! It worked beautifully against the wood of the covered bridge we went to.

Kenzie's grandmother is a master gardener, so of course we utilized her beautiful grounds. (They've been featured in Better Homes & Gardens and Downeast Magazine. Hello!!!)

We ended at their high school where Mr. Hawk here posed as a fantastic backdrop. (He's their school mascot if that's not obvious.)

Kenzie is enrolled at Saint Joseph's College in the fall where she will study nursing.

Good luck, Kenzie, and congratulations!

Eddie is Riding Away in His Mustang

My cousin, Eddie is graduating this weekend!!! At the end of last summer I visited him in Maine to take his senior pictures along with his girlfriend, Kenzie's (and of course, a few of them together.)

We started at the family camp on Pequawket Lake, but I actually liked the neighbor's dock better. Ours hasn't been wood for years.

The next day we parked at a covered bridge which proved to be an interesting background. You can't see the graffiti in the photos above, but oh was it there.

Like me, Eddie wanted a few photos taken with his car. Unlike me, however, his car is actually considered "cool."

Eddie's 2011 v6 Mustang is the result of hard work and smart savings. The way to be!

We ended at their high school where some of my favorite shots of the two of them were taken with their school mascot, the hawk.

Eddie is enrolled in UMaine Farmington in the fall where he will study to be a social studies teacher. His gentleness and patience will serve him well here.

Best of luck to you, Ed! You have the best people behind you. (Including me, of course. ;) Always.)

Abbie & Riley's Wedding is on Borrowed & Blue!!!

Oh my gosh, Abbie & Riley's gorgeous wedding is on Borrowed & Blue! If it weren't for these two, I wouldn't have started wedding photography. (Thank you!)

They had the simplest, most beautiful details at their wedding, many of which were handmade. Abbie's a crafty lady! (Being a kindergarten teacher helps, I'm sure.)

Cafe Au Lait dahlia by Tarrnation Flower Farm.

Emily Herzig Floral Studio was the main flower lady, and she outdid herself! (Not that she ever doesn't. I picked her for my own wedding!)

Abbie asked Emily to incorporate apples (yep, teacher!), rosemary for remembrance, and pomegranates for fertility. She delivered!

I cried so hard during this moment. Black and white does it the justice it deserves.

The Rocks Estate has gorgeous views throughout the property, and is where we took Abbie & Riley's engagement photos earlier that year.

Their guests passed around their wedding rings during a ring warming ceremony.

And they were married!!!

Check out that bouquet!
